Julliet

Julliet is lose among the heathens
Dancing in the opalescent rooms
Beads of silver sweat
are quickly falling
reflecting in a hundred disco moons

Julliet is lose among the heathens
on fallow floors
of lucite lights
While Raddich hawks his lotus in the alley
To unexpected creatures of the night

The once great star in the northern sky
has become the shattered city
Resplendant in her murky fog
Cloying and grasping
with smoke
and broken asphalt
and feral dogs
with no home for weakness
or sickness
or kindness
or poverty
in the external game show
played by fools who say
This is life

Julliet is lose among the heathens
and Raddich he lies bleeding in his car
as chariots turn into yellow taxis
removing would be patrons of the bar
