Tiny Spiders

Tiny spiders on my window paine
Freshly hatching in the morning rain
No need to wonder where they're crawling to
Instinctively they know what spiders do

Life's a jungle when you're miniscule
So many things would make a meal of you
Hardly matters if the skies are grey
They can't afford to take a holiday

Funny feelin'
That I can't explain
Tiny spiders in the rain

Crickets singing in the morning dew
Long sweet symphony for two
Hear the rhythm of the maple trees
Swayin' softly in the gentle breeze

Morning coffees in the open air
Sipping slowly in our old deck chairs
Sun is breaking and the rain is gone
And that's the end of this spider song

Funny feelin'
That I can't explain
Tiny spiders in the rain
